Training – Finding the Time
As I travel round the country trying to persuade people to buy our training courses it occurs to me that I have never met so many stressed out people. Everybody is running around trying to meet the day to day demands and not investing for the future. Clearly fear of job loss in this environment is an issue but ultimately this vicious circle will lead to people who are under-prepared for the future.
I recommend a three-pronged plan for dealing with the future:-
a) Get control of the present – may I refer readers to Getting It Done;
b) Make a plan to invest a portion of your time in self-development (hopefully some of it with Risk Audit!);
c) Make sure you do not become a dull boy / girl and ensure that some fun is also programmed into your life.
