Goodbye Internal Auditors
Yesterday saw the second day of the Global Internal Auditors conference at the Excel Centre in London.
Michael Woodford of Olympus fame was the keynote speaker sharing an insight into the downside of Japanese culture and his transformation from CEO to whistleblower.
Stop Press’ author, Sandro Boeri, gave a presentation on how the principles involved in transforming an internal audit function into a lean and mean effective machine. May I thank the 400 or so internal auditors from all over the world who invested their time to listen to me?
I now turn my attention to more mundane life filled with the enthusiasm generated by 2,500 auditors from 130 countries.
A very well organised event by the Global Institute. If you can see your way to inviting me to Vancouver next year how could I say no!
