Off to the Promised Land – Singapore?!
As my business partner and I set off to Singapore, I cannot but help refer to my own parents’ experience in the late 1950’s when they emigrated from Italy to come to the United Kingdom in search of food for the family and a better life.
Whilst I am not quite there, one cannot help but feel that economic prospects in the UK, Europe and the US are not promising for the foreseeable future.
I too feel like a pioneer as I pack my bags and head towards Singapore with a plan to seek fame and fortune in the brave new world.
Seriously, we are making our final plans for Risk Audit to open an office in Asia dealing with corporate governance recruitment (internal auditors, risk managers and compliance officers) and professional development.
